Hat Sections

Hat Sections

Hat sections are commonly used in Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEBs) as secondary framing members, primarily as purlins and girts to support roof and wall panels. They provide structural reinforcement, distribute loads effectively, and contribute to the overall stability of the building framework. Additionally, hat sections are utilized in mezzanine floors within PEBs to create additional usable space without the need for extensive structural modifications.
