W Beam & Thrive Beam

W Beam & Thrive Beam

W-Beam: W-beams are commonly used as guardrails to prevent vehicles from colliding with railway infrastructure such as bridges, signal equipment, and other critical components along the tracks. They absorb impact energy and redirect vehicles away from the railway, reducing the likelihood of damage and derailments.

Thrive Beam: Thrie beams, which are similar to W-beams but with additional height and stiffness, are particularly effective in areas where vehicles may approach at higher speeds or where there is a higher risk of penetration through the barrier. They offer enhanced containment and redirection capabilities compared to standard W-beams.

Both types of beams can be installed along railway platforms and walkways to prevent accidental falls onto the tracks, providing a protective barrier that enhances safety for pedestrians and railway workers
